Shah graduated at the University of South Australia utilising the Maitland concept "Evidence Based Assesment and treatment of spinal and peripheral conditions." Shah has worked in private practice for 10 years and has a special interest in shoulders.
Rebecca brings 15 years of practice and a Masters Degree qualification in manipulative physiotherapy to the table. Rebecca specialises in spinal pain treatment and has experience in acute and rehabilitation hopsital settings as well as private practice.
George has more than 12 years of experience in the treatment of musculoskeletal and sports related injuries. He was the consultant to the Australian Men's Handball team between 2006-20012 and travelled extensively nationally and internationally. He has a focus on sport related injuries with attention to an accurate diagnosis, a comprehensive rehabilitation plan, safe return to play and preventative strategies. He sees athletes of all levels of participation from the elite to recreational.
George majority of the time sees day-to-day people with their musculoskeletal complaints opting for the use of evidence based practice. Between 2008-2010, he participated in the worlds first RCT (Randomised Controlled Trial) looking at the used of physiotherapy in the treatment of Patellofemoral Joint arthritis under the guidance of Prof. Kay Crossley - a world leader in the field.
He also takes pilate classes at the Doncaster Clinic with the focus on improving chronic neck and back pain, restoration of spinal stability, improve posture, and giving patients back enjoyment of a stronger and fitter body.
Joanna graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1998. She is also a qualified Pilates Clinician and has years of experience working with various elite sporting teams, corporate companies and athletes in the area of sports physiotherapy, rehabilitation and ergonomic health. Her special interest areas include rehabilitation with a core stability focus, spinal (back/neck) pathology, sports injuries, peripheral joint pathology (shoulders, hips, knees, ankles) and postural/muscular re-education.
