Joanna has confidently managed clients with spinal pathology, peripheral joint pathology, sporting injuries and upper and lower limb bio-mechanical deficiencies. Her special interest areas include sports rehabilitation with a core stability focus, neck and back pain, headaches and muscular re-education. She incorporates principles of core postural stability and Clinical Pilates, Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation, Nutrition and Aged Care Management.

Joanna loves to keep fit and healthy by doing Clinical Pilates, Functional Training as well as Boxing. She has a love for travel and photography and has extensively covered most parts of the world with her sense of adventure and wanderlust.

Joanna graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1998. She is also a qualified Pilates Clinician and has years of experience working with various elite sporting teams, corporate companies and athletes in the area of sports physiotherapy, rehabilitation and ergonomic health.

Her special interest areas include rehabilitation with a core stability focus, spinal (back/neck) pathology, sports injuries, peripheral joint pathology (shoulders, hips, knees, ankles) and postural/muscular re-education. She is trained in DMA Clinical Pilates and strongly believes in prevention of injuries rather than simply treating the condition/symptoms.

She uses Dry Needling extensively in her treatment approach and has found this effective in targeting stubborn trigger point areas.
